New rules for Bottled water added with Minerals// servicebloggers.com

Good news for Indian packaged drinking water  customer's. A new regulation will change the formulation of all packaged water across India.

New guidelines from the Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) will now push all packaged water manufacturers to add 20 mg of calcium and 10 mg of magnesium per litre in all packaging.

As minerals are considered vital for health, the National Green Tribunal (NGT), had asked the FSSAI to explore the possibility of making a provision for the addition of certain minerals in packaged drinking water. NGT said it was important to note that filtration process removes minerals from water. So, the essential process to make the water safe & healthy for human consumption are restored for the benefit of consumers who drink packaged drinking water.

The new regulation will be implemented from January 1, 2021. The FSSAI has already provided two extensions to facilitate the industry's transition from the existing formulations to push new products in a market, facing growing health concerns and lack of clean drinking water.

Not quite uniform

Will it help? Water experts say yes. Will everyone fall in line? The experts say no. In short, water will have a different taste in different parts of India.

All the big players in the market as follows: Kinley, Bislery, Aquafina, Himalayan, Rail Neer, Oxyrich, Vedica and Tata Water Plus have started the process and by the end of December 2020, all major packaged drinking water brands would have the required quantity of calcium and magnesium in their bottles.

A senior official at Coca-Cola India said the company has already started rolling out new products in line with the government's specifications. “Our new bottles have already hit the markets all over India,” the official said.

AK Singh, a senior manager at a Bisleri plant, said his company is all set to roll out the new products by this month-end. “The pressure was not exactly on us but more on water purifying companies, which were drawing a lot of flak for clearing out a large amount of minerals from the water. With the new rules in place, hopefully, that old process of destroying minerals will stop,” he said.

Little is known about the smaller brands, which control over 25 percent of the domestic market. The FSSAI is, justifiably, worried about the plans of the smaller players.

There are more than 6,000 licensed water bottling setups under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and uncountable unorganised mineral water companies. There are around 150 Indian bottled water brands in the market today.

The western region accounts for 40 percent of the market and the eastern region for just 10 per cent. However, the bottling plants are concentrated in the southern part of the country. More than 55 percent of all the bottling plants are in four southern States.

“We are trying hard to ensure they follow rules, else the taste of bottled water will vary from region to region. In India, the small bottled water manufacturers often violate norms,” said a senior FSSAI official.

Giant market

In India, bottled water is a 30-billion-litre market and sold in four variants: one-litre bottles, two-litre bottles, 500 ml bottles, 250 ml bottles, pouches and barrels of 15-20 litres. The one-litre bottles have the largest market share of nearly 42 percent, followed by 500 ml bottles and 250 ml bottles.

The global bottled water market is expected to be worth $350 billion by 2021. In India, the market is expected to reach Rs 400 billion (around $5.4 billion) in three years' time (2023). Some of the key players in the world market are Nestle, Hangzhou Wahaha Group, Danone, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.

Interestingly, the taste of any packaged drinking water (or any water for that matter) mainly depends on the minerals that are found in the water, either from the source or added to it to deliver these minerals to consumers. Depending on the quantities of the minerals available in the water, the taste may vary. It is largely the mineral content in the source water that is behind the varied tastes of water perceived in different parts of India.

Poor compliance

In India, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) sets the quality regulations for various products from gold to bottled water. It has a whopping 19,000 standards in force with an average 350 new and revised ones per year.
So, how many of them are actually followed and implemented by manufacturers, especially the small and medium scale ones?

It is a great move but very difficult to implement. I hope it does not increase the price of the product and make it premium – water expert Sarika Baheti

Dr Aviram Sharma's study analysed the issue of implementation of bottled-water standards using fieldwork carried out in New Delhi, Jaipur, Patna, Kolkata and Bengaluru. The study pointed to the lack of formal procedures to involve various stakeholders in formulating these standards.

The study also found a lack of accountability and coordination among the multiple regulatory authorities involved in setting and enforcing the standards, especially for illegal manufacturers.

In addition, the study said the biggest challenge faced by the bottled-water companies in India is duplicate one-litre bottles. The study said it is very easy to create fake bottled water because Indian consumers tend to believe that any bottled water is safe. “But it is not true because there are many fake products,” says Baheti.

The new FSSAI guidelines will be dutifully implemented by the big players. But India's small and medium bottled water manufacturers are still silent about the new rules.

The bottled-water market, which came into existence in the early 1900s in the West, started in the mid-70s in India. It was initially considered a product for the rich. Then, growing health concerns and a lack of clean drinking water across the country led to an increase in demand for bottled water.

India's bottled water market is mushrooming due to increased awareness about the importance of safe drinking water for good health. Diseases such as fluorosis, malaria, typhoid, diarrhoea and viral fever have led millions to switch to drinking bottled water. Even the taste offered by bottled water plays a major role in the increasing demand in the market.

The FSSAI says as many as 75 percent of the packaging units, owned by various firms, are operated without a licence from the regulator. These units are only operating under a BIS certification, whereas both are required to run the business.

The other major challenges are from the unorganised sector, where there is rampant production of unhygienic bottled water in rural, semi-urban and a few urban areas.

List of 7 most useful features available in Gmail; Actually are used less// servicebloggers.com

Managing your inbox is not easy given the number of mails you receive and those that you have to send every day.

From scheduling mails to sending messages in bulk, here's a list of some of the most useful features available in Gmail for you. These will help you save time and manage your email more efficiently.

1. Schedule Emails â€“ This feature was added to Gmail last year, but even now, the majority of users don't know about its existence. Gmail now gives you the option to schedule an email to be sent out at a particular time on your chosen date.

Just click on the small arrow button on the right side of the large blue-coloured send button at the bottom of the compose window to schedule an email. Once you click the schedule option, you will see a few pre-set options for data and time to choose from, or you can manually pick the date and time of your preference using the “Pick Date & Time” button at the bottom.

2. Smart Sentence Suggestions â€“ Gmail added the smart compose feature a while back, but most people still don't use or know about it. The smart compose function uses machine learning and AI to offer suggestions for your sentences when you type.

So the next time you start composing an email, Gmail will show you suggestions based on what you have written so far. You can switch the smart compose off by clicking on Settings > See All Settings, and go to the General section. In this section, you would see the option of smart compose, and you can choose if writing suggestions are on or off (we need them switched on for smart compose to function).

3. Confidential Mode â€“ As per its name, Gmail's confidential mode lets you protect sensitive information when sending it via email by locking it with a password. With this mode, your email can only be viewed by authorised people who know the password. Moreover, once you enable confidential mode for an email, it cannot be forwarded, copied, downloaded or printed.

To enable confidential mode for an email, you need to click on the lock icon that has a clock visible in the bottom row of icons. Once you click on the confidential mode icon, you will be able to view the option to choose the expiry date and set a passcode.

4. Locating Email With Large Attachments â€“ Even though Google gives you over 15GB of free storage space, it is shared between your Gmail, Drive and Photos. Due to this, most of us tend to quickly reach the storage limit and then spend time finding photos, files, or large emails to delete.

Thankfully, in Gmail, it is now a simple process to search for emails with large attachments using the advanced search. Click on the small arrow on the right side of the search box in your Gmail to access the advanced search function. Here, you will see the option to search for an email that is of “size greater than” – in this option, you can start to look at emails above 25MB in size and deleting the unnecessary ones to gain storage quickly.

5. Automatically Move To The Next Email â€“ This is a feature that is highly recommended for all users. When you delete or archive an email, Gmail's default action is to bring you back to the inbox screen. However, with auto-advance enabled, when you delete or archive any email, Gmail takes you to the next email instead of taking you back to the inbox, which saves a lot of time.

To enable auto-advance, click on the Settings icon on the top and then open All settings. Go to the advanced section and enable Auto Advance. Next, in the general section, you will see the option to enable Auto Advance along with the choice to either go to the next email or the previous email as per your preference.

6. Mute Email Threads â€“ All of us have one or the other group on WhatsApp that we cannot quit, but since we don't want to be involved in the group, we choose to mute it in order to avoid being bothered by messages. You can do the same thing on Gmail for email conversations that you cannot be active in and cannot leave.

To mute an email thread, select the thread in your inbox and tap on the “three dots” more options button on the top. In the options menu that opens, you will see the option to Mute – Click on mute to enable it. The same procedure is to be done if you want to unmute an email thread.

7. Unsend Emails â€“ How many times have you been in a situation where you sent an email, only to immediately realise that you missed adding something or sent it to the wrong email address. While earlier you could not do anything about it, now Gmail offers a handy Undo Send function to take care of this issue.

To enable this feature, click on settings on the top and select All settings. In the general section, you will see the option to Undo Send and an option to set the cancellation period – you can choose between 5 to 30 seconds. Now, every time you send an email, you will get the option to undo send on the left side of the screen and tapping on that will stop the message from being sent.

The growth in “telehealth,” which is health care services delivered remotely through computers and mobile devices, has given registered nurses opportunities to work from home.

Which is best On Grid or Off Grid solar power system // servicebloggers.com

Planning to install a solar energy system at your home or business but getting confused between off-grid versus on-grid solar systems? For making the right choice, we need to understand the key differences between off-grid and on-grid solar systems.

On-grid solar systems generate power only when the utility power grid is available and directly connected to the utility feed. On-grid systems send excess power generated to the utility grid when you are overproducing.  These are the most cost-effective and simplest systems to install. Such systems will pay for themselves by offsetting the bills in 3-8 years. On-grid systems can either be put into place with or without net metering.

In the case of an on-grid system with net metering, while calculating the monthly bill, the solar power fed to the grid is netted at the same tariff at which the grid power is sold to the consumer. In the case of systems without net metering, the rate at which solar power fed is credited can be different from the normal utility tariff. The biggest downfall of an on-grid system is that it does not provide power during a grid outage.

Off-grid systems allow you to store and save your solar power in batteries for use when the power grid goes down. It is meant to be entirely self-sustaining. The best part about off-grid solar plants is that they provide power for critical loads when the power grid is down.

The biggest downside for off-grid systems is that they cannot cater to the power demand of all your loads since the cost and volume of batteries would be prohibitive. Such systems require a lot more specialized equipment to function. These systems are not only costly and complex to install but are also not very environment-friendly.

Another major con of an off-grid system is that one cannot completely rely on the power company as backup. So, before you make your choice, make sure you consider whether your property can sustain itself without power at certain intervals.

The main point boils down to the fact that off-grid systems are not recommended for the average homeowners. They are neither cost-effective nor easily installable and manageable. One will have to pay 3-4 times the cost of a grid-tied system for a similar off-grid system with suitable battery power for your needs.

Most of the solar developer recommend installing an on-grid solar system and invest in a backup DG if required. Nevertheless, in the case of remote areas where the grid is unavailable or unreliable, the off-grid system might seem an appropriate alternative. Few industries started to install off or on grid solar power system one example is Amplus Solar plant at Hilton Resort, Lonavala is an off-grid PV Plant. Like wise many resorts, hotels experiencing this as an cost effective remedy.

With the onset of policies such as net metering and open access, on-grid solar projects are on a boom in India. However, take a close look at the pros and cons mentioned above to make the right choice. Tying up the grid with your renewable energy will not only benefit you but also the environment and the community.

Avoid Doing these 5 mistakes while charging mobile // Servicebloggers.com

Mobile phones now evolved into smart phones and that gadget had became a very important tool for everyone. If you are not mobile, you start feeling disconnected from the world. You accept it or not this is the reality; we are being married with the smart phones. Therefore, the mobile needs to remain charged at all times. However, there are some mistakes related to mobile charging, which people usually do not notice. If you repeat these mistakes again and again, your mobile performance diminishes. So, to avoid that we pin pointed some mistakes related to mobile charging, which is one of major cause for mobile damage.

1) The most common mistake associated with mobile phones is that people use any charger to charge their mobile. But, by doing so, your mobile battery will become very hot. This reduces the life of your mobile. Best of all, use the charger you get with the mobile, which is specific for that model.

2) Don't forget to keep the mobile 100% charged at all times. Let me tell you that always keeping battery power lower reduces the battery life of your mobile. Also, keep in mind that never allow mobile battery power to reach 0% - 5%. This condition also reduces the battery life of your mobile.

3) Most people put the mobile on charging before sleep at night and then leave it on for the whole 8 hour night. This is not the right way to charge a mobile. Due to this, the electricity is wasted at the same time the mobile battery also becomes very hot. Due to over loading, ofcourse battery life reduces. There will be regular expansion and contraction of battery, which ultimately causes physical damage too.

4) Most people keep on using mobile untill battery reaches 0%, which is very wrong. But more than that, it is wrong to use mobile during charging. Many people even talk by charging the mobile. This causes the mobile battery to be overheated. This situation can harm mobile as well as you, so avoid doing this at any point.

5) Nowadays designer mobile cases can be seen in almost everyone's mobile. Of course, they enhance the beauty of the mobile but, when you charge the mobile, do not forget to remove them. If you charge the mobile with a case, then it will overheat the battery and the fine components inside the mobile may get damaged due to high temperature.

Comment below your own experience regarding mobile phone charging.

I am Waking Up In The Middle Of The Night; Find What Your Body's Trying To Tell You// servicebloggers.com

According to The Health Advisory, Most of global countries citizens are in state of restlessness. A poll taken in 2011 surveying various country citizens between the ages of 13 and 64 revealed that 43 percent of people rarely or never get a good night sleep on weeknights. The poll also found that about 60 percent of people experience a sleep problem some night or almost every nights.

So why is it that we can't seem to fall asleep, or why we wake up during the night and can't stay asleep?
Traditional Chinese medicine says the answer to that depends on specific times a person continually wakes up during the night.
Based on this idea, the different organs of your body stimulate specific emotions and spiritual states.
Sleep is highly valued and is a crucial aspect of our physiological well-being in Chinese medicine. One theory utilized by physicians to explain our sleep cycle is shen , which describes thought, state of consciousness and mental functions.
Related: 6 Techniques That Will Give You The Best Sleep Of Your Life (With No Pills!)
Our bodies were designed to follow a natural rhythm, and shen follows closely with that. It's meant to remain dormant at night as we rest, and then become alert and excited during our daytime functions. When restlessness occurs during the time we're supposed to be sleeping, our shen is over stimulated, thus causing sleeping problems.
If you're regularly waking up around the same time each night, don't ignore your body's signals. Depending on when you're roused from sleep, the organs in your body are trying to communicate with you.
Here's what it means when you wake up during the night:
Trouble falling asleep between 9 PM and 10 PM: You're stressed.
Stress seems like it's practically a household term at this point. We're constantly thinking about ten things at once and are expected to execute them perfectly. Yikes! When you lay your head down to rest, thoughts may be cluttering your mind that prevent you from getting a full night's rest. Work troubles, getting the kids up for school in the morning, making time to maintain your health and exercise, the list goes on and on...
It's recommended to combat this by practicing nightly meditation. This isn't just for the gurus — you can definitely do it too. Meditation allows your body to enter into a state of peace and serenity, helping you to wind down from a stressful day. You can start by listening to a half-hour of calming music before bed. This helps to slow down your brain activity in preparation for a long night of rest. Additionally, take slow, deep breaths to slow down your heart rate.
Waking Between 11 PM And 1 AM: You're experiencing emotional disappointment.
Traditional Chinese medicine attributes this time period to the gallbladder, which is part of what controls our emotions. Chinese Medicine Living states that the gallbladder is in charge of our passion for life, action, and assertiveness. When the gallbladder is balanced, we feel happy and content. But if you're experiencing a lack of passion, problems with decision-making, or timidness, your gallbladder is out of sync.
Waking Between 1 AM and 3 AM: You're angry.
Did your boyfriend forget to put away his dishes for the hundredth time? Did that annoying chick from work gloat about a job promotion in front of you? Did someone cut you off while driving to work this morning? Yeah, you're angry.
Anger is associated with the liver. When we have feelings of resentment that go unexpressed, they build up over time in the liver. So when you try to sleep through the night, your body reminds you of this nagging sensation night after night.

In order to overcome this, it's important to recognize your need to express emotion. When we let our feelings out, we have the ability to strengthen relationships as well as release negative energies from residing within our spirit. Holding it in leads to a constant heavy burden that will resurface at night during resting periods.
Waking Between 3 AM and 5 AM: A Higher Power is trying to tell you something.
This is the time when the lungs are most active. In traditional Chinese medicine, the lungs are responsible for moving energy through the entire body, as well as providing immune protection. They're also known to signal states of depression and grief.
If you're going through a difficult time in your life and can't seem to overcome the grip it has on you, you may do well to explore the possibility of a higher power speaking to you. When you wake up during this time, take a moment to relax, breathe, and pray through the saddened moment.
Waking Between 5AM and 7 AM: You have emotional blocks.
When you wake up during the night at this time, your intestine is overactive. As a member of an imperfect world, you're going to get hurt sometimes. Troublesome experiences can lead to drawing inward and relying on yourself, rather than risk it all to get hurt again. If you have trouble opening up to other people or can't let things go, you may have an imbalance in the large intestine.
The basic purpose of the intestine is to receive waste and dispose of what we don't need in our bodies. The physical function of this organ is closely tied to that of the spiritual aspect. The emotional purpose of the intestine is to "let go of those things that don’t serve us."
So, if you find that you wake up during the night, Chinese medicine can help you finally get a good night's rest.

How much money YouTube pays for 1 million views, comments of 5 Famous Youtubers // servicebloggers.com

How much money a YouTube channel owner makes for a viral video with 1 million views. Basically it varies demographically and popularity.

CPC & Impression rate the influencer gets from Google's Adsense program depends on a number of factors, from the place in the video where viewers normally drop off to the type of advertisers the video attracts. Many creators have ad-placement strategies for earning the most money possible.

Some videos that contain swearing or copyrighted music can be flagged by YouTube and demonetized, earning hardly any money for the creator (or none at all). One of YouTube's biggest stars, David Dobrik, recently said in an interview that he earned only around $2,000 a month from AdSense, despite weekly videos gaining an average of 10 million views. He makes most of his money on custom merch, he said.

But despite Dobrik's situation, many Youtuber's who see videos climb into the millions of views get a big check from YouTube.

Business Insider spoke with five YouTube influencers with vastly different channels:-

Marina Mogilko, Kevin David, Austen Alexander, Jade Darmawangsa, and Shelby Church; on how much they earned from videos with more than a million views.

Here's what they said:
Jade Darmawangsa – $3,600 (1.2 million views)

How much money a YouTube creator makes for a viral video with 1 million views can vary wildly — but it's usually quite a payday.

Jade Darmawangsa. Jade Darmwangsa

Jade Darmawangsa, 18, is a YouTube creator and entrepreneur with 341,000 subscribers.

Her video titled "How to grow on Instagram," with 1.2 million views, earned around $3,600, according to a screenshot viewed by Business Insider in May.

Darmawangsa launched her YouTube channel in 2015. In 2018, YouTube featured her for 24 hours on its worldwide trending page as a "Creator on The Rise," which helped raise her profile.

Today, she helps other social-media influencers and young creators build channels and businesses online.

Her average CPM rate — or how much money she makes per thousand views — is between $8 and $15, she said in March.

"The reason for the higher CPM is due to my audience demographic and niche," she said. "My content is largely business related, therefore it attracts advertisers with larger budget."

Austen Alexander — $6,000 (1 million views)

Austen Alexander — $6,000 (1 million views)

Austen Alexander — a YouTube influencer with 359,000 subscribers and an active-duty sailor for the US Navy — told Business Insider in November that a video with roughly 1 million views earns him about $6,000 in Google AdSense revenue.

Alexander started his channel in 2016, and now he posts videos like "A Day in the Life of an Enlisted US Sailor," and "Ms. Bikini Olympia Attempts the US Navy Physical Test."

Alexander increases his videos' watch time (how long a viewer watches a video for) by building up the anticipation at the start of a video, he said.

He enables every ad option on his videos, which include banner, preroll, and midroll ads. He also adds an "ad break" in the middle of a video, which he said has helped his earnings.

Marina Mogilko — $10,000 (1.5 million views)

Marina Mogilko has three YouTube channels: a language channel, a lifestyle channel, and a business channel.

She told Business Insider in August that her business channel was more appealing to advertisers than her other two channels because of the type of content, and made more per view in Google AdSense revenue.

She told Business Insider in August that her video titled "10 HIGH PAYING JOBS YOU CAN LEARN AND DO FROM HOME," on Linguamarina, with 1.5 million views (at the time), made $10,000 in AdSense revenue.

Mogilko makes an average of $10.73 per every 1,000 views on Silicon Valley Girl, her business channel, she told Business Insider in August. Her language channel, Linguamarina, makes an average of $4 per 1,000 views. Her third channel, the lifestyle one, makes even less than that, at $2.71 per 1,000 views.

Shelby Church — between $2,000 and $30,000

Shelby Church — between $2,000 and $30,000

Shelby Church. Shelby Church

For Shelby Church, a YouTuber who has 1.2 million subscribers, videos with about 1 million views have earned her between $2,000 and $30,000, depending on the video subject, she told Business Insider in January.

Her video about Amazon FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) had an unusually high CPM rate, she told Business Insider in January. The video earned her about $30,000 in AdSense revenue from 1.8 million views.

Church has dozens of videos with over 1 million views. But she typically earns most of her revenue from sponsored posts, rather than from AdSense on YouTube, she said. Church mainly films tech-review videos, with topics like which iPhone is worth the cost, or the features of her Tesla Model 3.

Kevin David — $40,000 (1.1 million views)

Kevin David is a YouTube creator and entrepreneur with nearly one million subscribers.

His "Shopify Tutorial for Beginners" video, which required minimal production because he filmed it using the screen-recording feature on his laptop, made over $40,000, he told Business Insider in August.

David gets the ideas for his content by looking at the Google Ads Keyword Planner to see how often people are searching particular phrases and looking at other combinations of video topics and thumbnails that have been successful in view count, he said.

He said he made his Shopify tutorial video while staying in a cheap hostel in Australia with no camera or equipment. But his videos make such a high rate from AdSense because he focuses on business topics, which are often more appealing to advertisers.
